About Harrington Jewellers
At Harrington Jewellers, I have always believed that jewellery should mean more than simply looking beautiful. It should hold something deeper, a memory, a moment, a piece of someone you never want to forget.
My story didn’t begin in a store. It began in 1999, in a tiny garage, with one bench, one torch, and more dreams than money.
The very first piece I ever made was a simple silver locket for my grandmother. She had passed away just months before, and I couldn’t afford a proper headstone, so I created something I could keep close to my heart instead. That locket became the beginning of Harrington Jewellers.
For the next 26 years, every single piece that left my hands was made with that same intention. No factories. No outsourcing. Just me, my tools, and a quiet commitment to create something that truly meant something to someone.
Over time, I realised I wasn’t just making jewellery, I was becoming part of people’s lives. I still think about the man who came in one rainy Tuesday, soaked and shaking, asking me to design a ring for “the only woman who ever truly saw him.” Two years later, they came back together for their wedding bands. I think about Sarah, who brought me her grandmother’s broken brooch after the funeral, whispering that she couldn’t throw it away. We turned it into a pendant she still wears every single day.
These were never just pieces. They were stories. They were love, loss, beginnings… and everything in between.
For many years, John and I built this together, with care, patience, and a deep respect for craftsmanship. But life has its seasons. John stepped away into a quieter chapter, and I continued alone at the bench.
But after 26 years, something else has changed too. My hands. They’re not what they used to be. And now, with my first grandchild arriving soon, I’ve realised something I never thought I would have to say.
It’s time to close this chapter.
Not because the love for this has faded, but because life is asking me to be present in a different way.
So before I close the workshop doors for the very last time, I am releasing one final collection, the pieces I am most proud of, the ones that carry everything I’ve learned, everything I’ve loved, and everything this journey has been.
Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever. No restocks. No remakes. No “maybe next year.” This is the end of Harrington Jewellers.
But the values will always remain: craftsmanship, meaning, and timeless beauty. Pieces that celebrate love, pieces that hold memories, pieces that quietly become part of your story.
Because jewellery was never just something you wear. It’s something you carry.
